80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The Daffodils Campaign in Płock.
Monika Niedźwiecka and her students from the Complex of Economics and Merchant Schools in Płock take part in the Daffodils Campaign every year. Also today, on the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, they created a magazine dedicated to women – insurgents from the ghetto and the heroism of their everyday life, and also made and distributed paper flowers to the people of Płock as a symbol of the heroines and heroes of the ghetto. The group visited several branches of the Władysław Broniewski Municipal Library and the Franciszka and Stefan Themerson Culture and Art Center in Płock, among others.
