Janina Szenwic was born on June 1, 1900 as the daughter of Hersz and Łaja Lizetta née Halpern. She lived with her family in a tenement house at 17 Old Market Square. In 1911, on the basis of an exam, she was admitted to the second class of the Eight-Grade Philological Middle School for Girls of the School Association in Płock, located at 23 Kolegialna Street. In June 1918, she received her secondary school certificate. In the same year, she was enrolled as a student at the University of Warsaw – she studied at the Faculty of Philosophy and Law. From August 1 to September 1, 1920, she was actively involved in the work of the League of Academic Defense of the State, she participated in collections. She died at the age of only 21, on October 4, 1921 in Warsaw.

Róża Szenwic was born on April 18, 1899 in Warsaw, as the daughter of Jakub Lejb (1865-1929) and Szajndla née Świeca (1865-1926). She received her initial education at home, then entered the Eliza Orzeszkowa Philological Middle School in Lodz. In 1919 she received a secondary school certificate. Then she studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw. During the Polish-Bolshevik war, she took part in collections, worked in the Society for the Care of the Soldier and the sewing room of the Red Cross.

Pelagia Szenwic was born on April 21, 1901 in Warsaw, in the family of Jakub Lejb (1865-1929) and Szajndla née Świeca (1865-1926). Jakub Lejb is the son of Abram Szyja Szenwic, i.e. they are the descendants of Chaskiel. In 1906, she moved with her family to Łódź. Here she received her initial education at home, and in 1915 she entered the Eliza Orzeszkowa Philological Middle School in Lodz to class IV. From July 14 to September 15, 1920, she worked in the sewing room of the Association of Polish Secondary School Students at the middle school. She actively participated in collections for soldiers organized by the Academic League in Łódź. She was a student at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. Pelagia Szenwic married Gustaw Bryłowicz, with whom she had two sons: Fred Alan (born 1925) and Ryszard Jerzy (born 1924). The Bryłowicz family lived in Gdynia. During World War II, Fred Alan Bryłowicz (Fred Allan Brill) was a soldier of the 2nd Polish Corps, he fought at Monte Cassino.
